Job brief
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Commercial Manager to lead our expansion efforts in the industry. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales, partnerships, and managerial roles.
Responsibilities
- Implement the distributor market strategy for the company, in alignment with the overall business strategy.
- Manage a team of commercial, Corporate Clients and commercial managers, including identify existing gaps, and support their future training and development.
- Researching, identifying, and onboarding new partnerships, targeting partner already established in the industry and those venturing into the space for the first time.
- Effectively pitch and acquire new customers for the core company product as well as new product launches.
- Build strong relationships with potential and existing clients, as well as platform stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data protection laws, and industry standards across the market segment.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging trends and technologies in the distribution market that could impact the company’s strategy and make recommendations for adoption.
- Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with the company’s goals for expansion and market penetration, specifically for new expansion areas in Indonesia
- Act as a leader on the commercial team who can coach and develop team members.
Requirements and skills
- Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in sales and partnerships within the financial/multifinance industry.
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in the multifinance sector, demonstrating leadership and strategic decision-making capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of multifinance operations, industry trends, and market dynamics.
- Proven track record in driving successful commercial strategies, business development, and sales initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage existing networks and build new connections to drive business growth, especially in business associations, communities, and government.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure profitable partnerships and business deals.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and other key performance indicators.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving business environment, making informed decisions to drive positive outcomes.
