We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team and contribute to our data-driven decision-making process. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and developing complex logical database designs, logical data models, and relational data definitions in support of corporate and customer information systems requirements. Understand the methodologies and technologies that depict the flow of data within and between technology systems and business functions/operations. Responsible for the identification and resolution of information flow, content challenges, and the transformation of business needs into logical data models. This role finds ways to lessen redundant data, patterns in data usage, and various data sources.
Responsibilities :
1. Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
2. Apply statistical techniques and perform advanced analytics to extract insights and identify trends.
3. Create visualisations, reports, and dashboards to effectively communicate data insights.
4. Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
5. Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
6. Ensure data integrity through validation, quality control, and adherence to data governance standards.
7. Identify opportunities for automation, streamline workflows, and enhance data analysis processes.
8. Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and techniques in data analysis.
9. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and maintain data confidentiality.
Requirements :
1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar roles
3. Strong knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and database systems.
4. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for data analysis, such as Python or R.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
6. Demonstrated experience in data understanding and analysis is important.
7. Experience with data visualisation tools or any analytics application.
8. A team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
9. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal guidance.
10. Fluent communication in the English language, both spoken and written, is a must.
